en: The NIC helps governments introduce services that utilize the latest technology. NIC’s UIC partner launched the first iPhone application for government, Utah License Lookup. NIC’s associate, Arkansas, became the first state in the nation to offer secure mobile payments to Digital Government Services. On the first day that the iPad was released, NIC launched its first official government mobile app design specifically for the iPad. NIC’s partner in Utah became the first state to offer a Google Glass-specific app. Arkansas and Maryland launched the first official government applications for Apple Watch. Utah and Mississippi began the first government government skills for the Amazon Echo. At NIC, our teams throughout the country are working every day to incorporate new and innovative ways of interacting citizens with the government.
